Errata
My book contains some uncorrected typos that I missed when reviewing the page proofs. But the following mistakes are important ones that I should acknowledge and correct:
-
- Table 3.1 makes it look as though the IPCC’s 4th, 5th and 6th assessment reports were published earlier than they were. The accompanying text cites the correct dates, and the error was caused when the publisher or printer inadvetently altered the vertical position of the words “AR4, “AR5,” etc. within the cells of the table. I should have caught this mistake when proofreading, but did not. The corrected table is shown opposite right (or below, depending on the viewing device).
- In discussing the online rhetoric of Dr. Genevieve Guenther, I misspelled her last name (omitting the first “e”). I discovered this after the book went to press, and I apologize the Dr. Guenther for the mistake. It was inadvertently disrespectful, but disrespectful nevertheless.
- The good people at NYU’s Guarini Center have invited me to talk about my book there, even though I misspelled the center’s name as “Guarani.” Sorry about that!
